Welcome to Sense of Community, a non-governmental organization (NGO) that has been making a positive impact since its establishment in 2014. Our mission is to create a sense of belonging and empower individuals to thrive, regardless of their circumstances. Through our diverse and impactful programs, we strive to make a lasting difference in the lives of our students, pregnant women, recipients, participants, and community members.
At Sense of Community, we believe in the power of education to unlock potential and create opportunities. We are proud to offer 150 programs that cater to the unique needs of our students. Through these programs, we provide a supportive learning environment where our students can grow academically, emotionally, and socially. We are committed to ensuring that each student is not only enrolled but also thriving and educated.
In addition to our focus on education, we also prioritize the empowerment and enrichment of our students. We have dedicated programs that cater specifically to 30 empowered and enriched students, providing them with the necessary resources and support to develop their skills, talents, and confidence.
Sense of Community is equally committed to supporting pregnant women in need. We provide comprehensive assistance and support to 40 pregnant women, ensuring they have access to the medical care, resources, and guidance they require during this important phase of their lives.
Furthermore, our organization extends its reach to offer medical support to 300 recipients. We understand the importance of accessible healthcare and strive to bridge the gap by providing the necessary support to those who need it the most.
One of our key initiatives is vocational training, which aims to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge they need to secure sustainable employment opportunities. Through our vocational training programs, we empower 10-20 participants each year, enabling them to build a better future for themselves and their families.
At Sense of Community, we recognize the importance of strong community bonds. We actively support our community members through our church support program, which provides assistance to 150 individuals. By fostering a sense of belonging and offering support when needed, we aim to create a resilient and united community.
We are open from Monday to Thursday, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure that our programs and services are accessible to all who need them. Please note that we are closed on Fridays.
